The CECAFA Cup, currently known as the CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup, is a competition held for national teams that are members of CECAFA, the Council for East and Central Africa Football Associations. This consists of countries from mainly East Africa and somewhat Central Africa. Founded in 1926, it is Africa’s oldest football tournament.
