The UAE Super Cup is an annual one-off match contested by the UAE Pro League champion and the UAE President’s Cup winner. The first edition of this tournament was held in 1990 but it did not begin adhering to an annual schedule until 2008. This competition acts as the curtain-raiser for the domestic UAE season.
