TUDN remains kings of U.S. TV soccer games viewership, drawing a total audience of 2,478,000 and averaging 165,000 viewers per broadcast in the week of Sept. 1-7.

Six channels screened soccer games on U.S. TV in the week of Sept. 1 through Sept. 7, and TUDN came on top by a landslide once again.

Spanish language channel TUDN broadcasted 15 games, drawing an audience of 2,478,000 and averaging 165,000 viewers per broadcast. The average views per broadcast improved from the prior week (Aug. 25-31) by a little over 5,000.

Seven of the 15 games televised by TUDN involved Liga MX fixtures, which led in total views with 1,606,000 and 229,000 average views per broadcast. Guadalajara's 3-1 win over Tigers UANL ranked 29th in ShowBuzzDaily's top 150 cable originals and network finals on Saturday, Sept. 5, and was the most-watched game broadcasted by TUDN in the U.S. of the week with 363,000 viewers tuning in.

Another seven of the 15 TUDN broadcasts involved UEFA Nations League action. The games amassed 747,000 viewers and an average of 124,500 per broadcast. Italy's 1-0 win over the Netherlands on Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 7, was the most-watched Nations League game with 149,000 total viewers, while England's 1-0 win over Iceland scored the lowest viewership 78,000.

TUDN's Major League Soccer broadcast scored better viewership ratings than the week before, which saw the Atlanta United-Orlando City game reach 80,000 total viewers. This week, the two MLS games televised by TUDN, LAFC-San Jose Earthquakes and LA Galaxy-LAFC, totaled 243,000 viewers and an average of 121,500, which is close to the UEFA Nations League average of 124,500. The four remaining channels – ESPN 2, ESPN NEWS, FOX Deportes and FOX Sports 1 – aired a total of five games.

CBS has made a return to the world of soccer screening the NWSL Fall Series. The first game of the competition between the Washington Spirit and Sky Blue FC was a success amassing a total of 381,000 viewers and receiving an impressive 0.26 viewership rating.

FOX Sports 1 was the only channel that televised two games in Atlanta United's 0-0 draw with Inter Miami on Wednesday, Sept. 2, and Inter Miami's 0-0 draw with Nashville SC on Sunday, Sept. 6. The two games averaged 106,000 viewers per broadcast.

ESPN 2 had a strong showing on Thursday, Sept. 3, entertaining 173,000 viewers with UEFA Nations League action between Spain and Germany. This broadcast scored better than TUDN's, which only garnered 90,000 viewers.

ESPNews' only broadcast scored the lowest number of viewers on the week with 66,000 who saw Finland defeat Ireland 1-0 on Sunday, Sept. 6. And FOX Deportes' only broadcast drew 90,000 viewers, who saw Tijuana beat Monterrey 2-1 on Friday, Sept. 4
