The Portuguese midfielder was involved in all three goals while Carlo hit a low he hasn't reached for14 years.

Manchester United head into the international break on the back of a positive note. After losing 1-0 to Arsenal last weekend and 2-1 to İstanbul Başakşehir, their trip to Everton was a must-win fixture in order to avert a crisis, and win they did, beating the Toffees 3-1.

The Red Devils did not begin well. After only 19 minutes of play, Solskjaer's men found themselves 1-0 down thanks to a lovely Bernard goal. Fortunately, the 20-time Premier League champions quickly turned things around, equalizing in the 25th minute before taking the lead in the 32nd.

Both goals came courtesy of Bruno Fernandes. The first was an exquisite header as the unmarked Portuguese midfielder headed an inch-perfect cross from Luke Shaw past a helpless Jordan Pickford. Seven minutes later, the former Sporting CP man was at it again but this time, he was the crosser of the ball. Luck was on his side as Rashford failed to get a touch on the ball, meaning that when it sneakily found its way into the back of the net, Fernandes was credited as the scorer.

This saw the Portuguese ace register a lovely feat. Bruno contributed to his 13th goal in what was his 10th away game in the Premier League, scoring nine and assisting four. This is the highest goals contribution by any player in the Premier League in their first 10 away games.

The midfielder would go on to set up the third goal in the dying minutes of the game. After winning the ball back, Man United were able to quickly break on an Everton side in search of an equalizer. Despite having a clear shot on goal, Fernandes laid off the ball to Cavani to score his first goal for the Red Devils.

This was a forgettable night for Ancelotti's side and Carlo himself. The Merseyside outfits, despite their impressive start to the season, head into the international break on the back off a three-game losing streak. This is also the first time the Italian tactician has lost three league games in a row in 14 years.
