The Spanish center back picked up an injury while on international duty, and he is set to miss some key games for the La Liga champions.

Real Madrid's worst fears were confirmed earlier today when the tests performed on captain Sergio Ramos came in.

Now, the Spanish giants and their coach Zinedine Zidane will have to make do without a key member of their squad for crucial games, which will include next week's UEFA Champions League encounter against Inter Milan.

A report by Spanish newspaper Marca has revealed that Ramos will be out at least for the next couple of weeks, which will give Zidane even more problems in defense. Raphael Varane came back from international duty with a knock on his shoulder, and to make matters worse, Eder Militao is not fully fit after recovering from a COVID-19 diagnosis and Nacho will just return from an injury he picked up against Barcelona last month.

The same report states that Ramos will try to return to the team's lineup before the clash against Shakhtar, but rushing into things could make things even worse for the Spaniard, especially since Los Blancos have a massive schedule ahead with games against Inter, Shakhtar, Sevilla, Borussia Mönchengladbach, and Atlético.
