About
OneSoccer History, Coverage, Features
OneSoccer is a Canadian subscription-based streaming service owned by multimedia giants Mediapro. The 24/7 streaming channel was introduced to provide extensive Canadian football coverage online, following the successful creation of the Canadian Premier League in the first half of 2019.
It was first announced in February 2019, after Canadian Soccer Business (CSB) announced that Mediapro had acquired full media rights across all platforms within its portfolio in an official 10-year deal. Under the licensing agreement, OneSoccer was granted the rights to air both league and national matches live and on demand on its website and applications. Matches eligible for coverage on the streaming network include fixtures from both the Women’s and Men’s Canadian National Teams.
OneSoccer offers a variety of subscription packages to both individual users and public establishments. Subscribed viewers can access Canadian matches on PC and Mac online on onesoccer.ca, as well as on tablets and smartphones running on iOS and Android. An internet connection speed of 3 Mbps or above is however required for streaming in low quality, whereas a connection speed of 10 Mbps or above is recommended for streaming in high quality.
Viewers streaming matches on the web through OneSoccer’s website may do so using the latest version of any of the compatible browsers: Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Opera or Safari.
Streaming on Apple TV or smart TVs is also possible as OneSoccer supports both Chromecast and AirPlay. Other football programming aside from live matches on the channel include pre-match analysis, half-time shows, post-match analysis and highlights. Extra content produced by Mediapro Canada, such as news and magazines, is also available to watch on OneSoccer.
The published listings of live, re-aired, and on-demand match and program events published on this website are broadcast by the official rights holders.
