The Philippines Football League, commonly referred to as the PFL, is the highest level men’s league in the Philippines. Founded in 2017, this competition succeeded the United Football League, the nation’s previous top-flight championship which was folded in 2016. The champion earns a ticket to the AFC Champions League.
