Another grueling Primera División season in Argentina is about to kick off, and fans across the globe will get to witness the true intensity of Argentine football week in and week out.
Every team will be playing 27 matches across the season, with the one with the most points earning the right to win the title. The 2024 season will begin with River Plate as defending champions, following their impressive run that saw them win the league with an eleven-point gap over Talleres.

River Plate vs Central Córdoba - The defending champions will start their run in the tournament against Central Córdoba, one of the teams that struggled the most during the 2023 season and who will have to step things up if they want to avoid relegation via the season table or on the coefficients standings. Los Millonarios had a good run in the Copa de la Liga, but with Boca Juniors eliminating them from the tournament, this will give Martín Demichelis' men a chance to redeem themselves and try to add to their impressive record.
