The women’s football realm will be filled with action from Friday, April 29 through Thursday, May 6, including the UEFA Women’s Champion League semifinal second legs, NWSL Challenge Cup games and more.

UEFA Champions League semifinal second legs

The UEFA Champions League returns Sunday with semifinal second legs. Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain drew 1-1 in the first leg in Paris and will play against on Sunday at 6 a.m. ET. On the other hand, Chelsea will aim to defeat Bayern at home on Sunday at 7:30 a.m. ET to overcome their 2-1 away loss in the first leg. 

Sunday, May 2

  • Barcelona vs. PSG at 6 a.m. ET
  • Chelsea vs. Bayern Munich at 7:30 a.m. ET

NWSL Challenge Cup

Four 2021 NWSL Challenge Cup games are set to be played from Saturday through Monday. 

Saturday’s lone game between the North Carolina courage and the Orlando Pride will broadcast live on American and Candian TV on CBS Sports Network. The other three games will stream live on Paramount+. All games will stream live internationally on Twitch.

NC Courage and NJ/NY Gotham FC are in the race to win the Eastern Division and face the Portland Thorns in the NWSL Challenge Cup Final.

FA WSL

Matchday 21 of the FA Women’s Super League will see all its games take place on Sunday. Two of the six matches will stream live on ATA Football in the USA, Germany and Italy. The rest will stream live on the FA Player around the world.

Fans in the USA, Germany and Italy can catch Manchester City’s game against Birmingham City, and the London Derby between Chelsea and Tottenham live on ATA Football.

ATA Football will stream two Division 1 Feminine games in the USA, UK, Ireland, Germany and Italy. The first game will be Lyon against Le Havre on Friday, and the next will be Paris FC against Paris FC on Thursday. Both Lyon and Paris are forced to win as two points separate the two in the league table.

Liga MX Femenil

Matchday 17 will mark the end of the Liga MX Femenil Clausura and the start of the Liguilla – playoffs –where the top eight teams will face in search of a championship. 

TUDN will screen a game between Cruz Azul and Queretaro in Mexico on Friday. Cruz Azul needs to win and hope for Club America to lose against Puebla to clinch a spot in the playoffs.

The Liga MX Femenil game of the week will see league leaders Tigres UANL pay a visit to second-place Chivas Guadalajara on Monday. The winner of the game will finish first place. The game will broadcast on Telemundo Deportes En Vivo in the USA.
