The highly-anticipated 2nd leg of the semi finals UCL clash between Manchester City and PSG will kick off on Tuesday, May 4th.

Preview: Manchester City vs PSG

This past weekend could have seen Manchester City clinch the Premier League title, but Pep Guardiola's men will have to wait a bit longer to be crowned champions of England. Unfortunately, Manchester United's match with Liverpool had to be postponed after a group of angry Red Devils supporters stormed Old Trafford, intending to use ruckus as a means to force the club's owners, the Glazers, out after growing increasingly dissatisfied following the team's involvement in trying to form the European Super League.

Still, having seen off Crystal Palace, it's a matter of if, not when, Manchester City will win their second trophy of the season. The biggest one for Guardiola's troops, is making it to the final in Istanbul and lifting the coveted prize. Their opponents could be fellow Premier League side Chelsea in what would be a very exciting all-English final, or possibly Real Madrid, the most decorated team in this competition. But first, they'll need to ensure they can use their 2-1 lead from the first leg to their full advantage when they welcome PSG on Tuesday evening.

Goals from Kevin De Bruyne and Riyad Mahrez were enough to undo an early effort from Marquinhos and give City a crucial lead heading into part two of their semi-finals clash with Mauricio Pochettino's squad. PSG, meanwhile, come into this match having beaten Lens 2-1 at the weekend which keeps them firmly in the hunt to defend their Ligue 1 crown, but they're still facing a stiff challenge on multiple fronts from Lille, Monaco, and Lyon.

Pochettino also has some major concerns about the fitness of Kylian Mbappe, who will have to pass a late fitness test in order to feature in Tuesday's game. Having nearly gotten his hands on the title and come up short during his time with Tottenham, the Argentinian tactician will be keen on trying to turn things around - but he will be coming up against a team and a manager who also will be equally determined to get to that final.

City have endured frustration time and time in this competition, with Guardiola being thwarted at the quarter-finals stage for three consecutive seasons. But having cleared that, and with an interesting bit of history on his team's side - in all 47 prior occasions that an English team won the away leg, they always progressed - the odds are looking good for City to book their ticket to this season's final.

The question is, will PSG be able to avoid faltering at the last hurdle in what would be an utterly heart-breaking result for Les Parisiens?

Team news: Manchester City vs PSG

City: Only defender Eric Garcia, who's battling illness, will miss this one, but Guardiola will have everyone of note available for this crunch clash.

PSG: On the opposite end of the pitch, Pochettino could have some major worries with Kylian Mbappe still struggling with a calf issue that kept him out during PSG's weekend win over Lens. While he's made the trip to Manchester, the 2018 World Cup winner faces a race against time to be declared fit for Tuesday evening's tie. Meanwhile, Idrissa Gueye will have to sit this one out due to a ban incurred from being sent off during Les Parisiens' defeat last week.
