FA Women’s Super League fans around the world will be able to watch the North West London Derby between Tottenham and Chelsea on Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. ET.

The last game of Matchday 21 will see Tottenham host Chelsea at the Hive Stadium on Wednesday. The Blues will look for a win that would put them back at the top of the FA WSL table. Meanwhile, the Spurs will look to dethrone their rivals by claiming their first home win in 2021.

Chelsea qualified to the UEFA Women’s Champions League final on Sunday by defeating Bayern Munich 4-1 in the second leg – 5-3 on aggregate. However, the Blues’ focus now shifts to winning consecutive WSL titles. To do so, the 2019/20 champions will have to take down the Spurs to leap over Man City in the league table.

Head coach Emma Hayes and her players have a chance to win the quadruple after winning the League Cup in February and the FA Community Shield in August.

Sitting in eighth place in the league table, Tottenham has lived an underwhelming 2020/21 campaign. The club has seen lots of changes this season, including a managerial modification in November that saw long-time coaching duo Karen Hills and Juan Amoros be replaced by Rehanne Skinner.

The Spurs won three out of the first four games under Skinner, which looked like a sign of better things to come. However, that short run of good form turned sour as Tottenham failed to win its next nine league games. A win against Chelsea on Wednesday would not only mean the Spurs’ first league win since January, but their first-ever league win against a top-four side.

Tottenham and Chelsea have faced off twice this season. The first came in the shape of a Continental Cup meeting that ended in a 2-0 Chelsea win at Kingsmeadow. The two met again in January when the Blues smashed the Spurs 4-0 again at home in a league game. Chelsea forward Sam Kerr, who is the league’s joint-top goalscorer – 18 – with Vivianne Miedema, scored that time out.
