It is yet to be determined the effect this decision will have on the team or the fate of their coach, Massimiliano Allegri.

A major change will be taking place in Italian football for the next few days, as Juventus will have to change their entire board due to the ongoing investigation regarding the team's financial statements.

In a press release, Juventus have revealed that the board has decided to accept the resignations of the entire board of directors, starting with Andrea Agnelli and vice-president Pavel Nedved. In total, ten Juventus execs have been forced to cut ties due to the investigation that is looking into the team's budget allocation for two of the past three seasons.

The board recommended Agnelli to hand in his resignation, which was swiftly followed up with Nedved's decision to step down along with Maurizio Arrivabene.

Agnelli's exit will put an end to one of the most successful eras in club history, where they won nine Serie A titles, five Coppa Italia crowns, five Supercoppa de Italia titles, and had the team reaching two UEFA Champions League finals, one in 2015 and the other in 2017.

The implications of the team in the Prisma investigation, which was opened up by Turin's prosecutors for an illegal accounting scheme forced the board to resign prior to the stockholders' meeting, which is now set to take place on December 27.

According to Sky Sport Italia, these moves by Juventus could bring the team to a new era of reconstruction, similar to the one that took place after the 2005-06 season, when the bianconeri were relegated to Serie B due to the Calciopoli corruption investigation.
