The newly crowned FA Cup champions have signed a new kit sponsorship deal that will bring them more than their previous deal, which was reportedly £12 million-plus per season.

Leicester City ended their 2021/2022 season on a sour note as they were beaten 4-2 by Tottenham on the final matchday, and thus were knocked out of the Champions League spots. But despite this, the Foxes still had plenty to celebrate. They won their first ever FA Cup, beating Chelsea in the final, and things are also going pretty well for Brendan Rodgers's side off the pitch as well.

Fans may have noticed a new logo on Jamie Vardy and his teammates' kits when they took to the pitch against Spurs last weekend. That's because Leicester have a new shirt sponsor: starting from the 2021/2022 season, FBS, a global online trading company, will replace Thai organization King Power.

It'll be quite an adjustment as pretty much everyone has been used to seeing King Power on the front of Leicester's jerseys since they first burst onto the top flight scene in 2014. During the 2020/2021 season, they also had the Tourism Authority of Thailand serving as the main kit sponsor, albeit King Power also was a sponsor for domestic and European cup competitions.

King Power used its sponsorship to assist in Thailand's fiscal recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic, which hit the nation's various sectors hard - especially tourism.

While the new details of the contract with FBS haven't been revealed, sources claim that it's "historic", so it's certain to exceed the $16.9 million (£12 million) per season prior arrangement Leicester City had with King Power.
