The English side has been without a big name boss since Antonio Conte left the club in March, but they have finally identified the men who could take over

It has been almost two months since Tottenham decided to part ways with Antonio Conte, but the North London side seems ready to finally appoint the man that will lead them next season.

Spurs seemed to have agreed terms to sign coach Julian Nagelsmann a couple of weeks ago, but everything fell apart due to some conditions that were last-minute demands by the German boss. With that in mind, the North London club decided to keep their options open in other fronts and have reportedly found the replacement for their former Italian tactician.

A report by the Daily Mail suggests that Spurs' hiearchy has narrowed their shortlist of candidates to two names. The first one would be Luis Enrique -who was also considered for Chelsea's job- and the other one would be Feyenoord's Arne Slot.

Luis Enrique has been out of a job since the end of the World Cup, where he crashed out of the tournament against Morocco. The former Barcelona skipper has been linked to all sorts of jobs since then, but his desire to coach in the Premier League could be decisive to see him joining Spurs.

On the other hand, Slot led Feyenoord to the 2022-23 Eredivisie title with two games to spare. Added to that, the red and white side had an interesting run in the UEFA Europa League, where they were eliminated by Roma in the Quarterfinals. Slot would join fellow Dutch coach Erik Ten Hag as a Premier League boss following a successful campaign in his home country.

The report by the English newspaper states that Tottenham will have final meetings with both coaches next week, in an attempt to reveal their next coach as soon as the Premier League season comes to a close on May 28.
