The Bavarian side will work on giving Thomas Tuchel all the tools to stop all the ups and downs experienced this season, and this is seen as the first step to do so.

The end of the Bundesliga season came with Bayern earning one more title, but they came too close to ending this campaign without any silverware. With that in mind, the Bavarian side is ready to give their coach carte blanche when it comes to signing new players for his project, even if that means they need to splash cash.

Speaking of which, the club has already identified a Premier League midfielder to boost the team's chances of success in the Bundesliga and in the UEFA Champions League, where the German giants want to become a force to be reckoned with.

The man in question is none other than Declan Rice, who is set to leave West Ham after a dismal season in the Premier League, but who is still involved with the English club in their quest to win the UEFA Europa Conference League title on June 7.

Reports coming in from Germany state that coach Tuchel has already reached out to the player in order to lure him to Allianz Arena. The report adds that Rice had a positive reaction to the conversation, but that he will not decide on his future until the end of the season for the Hammers.

Rice, who will see his deal at West Ham expiring in 2024, has become one of the highest-rated midfielders in the Premier League, which has raised interest from Arsenal, Manchester United, and Chelsea. While these clubs have the funds to pursue a deal, Bayern's interest in his services will also see the German side coming up with a large sum of money to secure the first signing for Tuchel, even if a bidding war takes place between the Bundesliga giants and these EPL clubs.
