Chelsea will be in for a rough start in Tuchel's first full campaign in England while Arsenal and Liverpool take on two newly-promoted sides on Matchday 1.

The 2021/22 Premier League season is way off from kick-off, but the schedule for the upcoming English top-flight campaign has already been revealed, with reigning champions Man City kicking off their title defense with a thrilling Tottenham showdown.

The upcoming season commences on August 14; however, the Cityzens aren't the only ones in for a tricky opening weekend as city rivals Man United embark on their campaign against Leeds, one of their historic foes. Liverpool and Arsenal will face two newly-promoted sides on Matchday 1, taking on Norwich City and Brentford respectively, as the new boys in the top-flight will look to make a bang with their entrance.

Chelsea, fresh off their UEFA Champions League success, take on Crystal Palace on day one, which shouldn't be a huge hill to overcome. However, Tuchel has been handed a rough start in his first full season in England as the Blues will face four of the traditional top six clubs in their opening six fixtures.

After their opening day clash with Palace, Mount and Co. will be in for tough back-to-back away ties, taking on Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium and Liverpool at Anfield in the span of a week. A clash with Aston Villa follows that, with tricky tests against Tottenham (A) and Man City (H) coming in succession.

The Premier League schedule for next season returns to its pre-COVID-19 ways, meaning it will run until May 22. Here's a quick rundown of the 2021/22 English top-flight fixtures list.
