Mason Mount showed his class both during the game and after it while at Wembley for the semi-final showdown with Denmark.

Wednesday, July 7 will go down as one of the most memorable days in recent history for the English national team, and one young Three Lions fan in particular.

The European giants took on Denmark in the semi-finals of Euro 2020, beating the Scandinavian nation to reach the final of a major tournament for the first time since their 1966 FIFA World Cup triumph over West Germany.

The match did not start well for the Three Lions, with Gareth Southgate's side going a goal down at the half-an-hour mark Mikkel Damsgaard scored a sensational free kick to break the deadlock. However, Harry Kane and Co. did not trail for long, with the Tottenham superstar and Arsenal sensation combining well for the equalizer, despite it finding the back of the net via a Simon Kjaer own goal.

England had several opportunities to win the game but were forced into extra time thanks to Kasper Schmeichel's heroics and Denmark's well-drilled defense. However, the continental giants finally found the winner in the dying minutes of the first half of extra time, with Raheem Sterling earning a penalty, albeit a controversial one. Kane's attempt was initially saved but the captain scored from the rebound to send his nation to the final.

One man who starred in that lovely victory was Mason Mount. The Chelsea midfielder had seven touches inside Denmark's penalty, more than the entire Danish lineup managed in England's box combined, and also mustered an impressive four key passes during his time on the pitch.

The 22-year-old's class, however, was not solely limited to the pitch as the Stamford Bridge graduate pulled off an honorable gesture after the final whistle. With the entire team in celebration after making the final, the Premier League midfielder took his time to head to the stands to hand his jersey to a young female fan. Judging by her expression, this lovely act made her night.

The moment was caught on camera and shared on social media by several accounts, including England's official Twitter page. Given her ecstatic reaction, she will likely remember this moment for the rest of her life. Check it out in the video below.
