Sources close to the team, the legendary attack may enter its final season together, and one of them could leave even before the end of the summer transfer window.

The winds of change will seemingly blow at Anfield this summer, as their historic trio featuring Sadio Mané, Mohamed Salah, and Roberto Firmino may see its end before the start of the 2021-22 season.

These three footballers have combined for over 300 goals, but as the trio is getting closer to reach 30 years of age, Liverpool execs believe that the time to dismember one of the most impressive attacks in club history has come, according to a report by The Athletic.

The reason for Liverpool's decision on this subject has to do with the length of their contract. All three players will only have one year left in their deals with the Reds when this season comes to an end, and Anfield's hierarchy wants to cash in on them before it is too late.

In fact, the report by The Athletic hints that Roberto Firmino might be the first one to leave the club due to his poor numbers in the recently concluded campaign, where he only managed to score 9 goals across 48 games in all comps.

Speaking about Salah and Mané, the Egyptian would be the second of the bunch to leave, as he has repeatedly said that he would not rule out a move away from the Reds if the right offer came his way, and mainly because of his complicated relationship with Jürgen Klopp.

Either way, all these players have given Liverpool fans quite a few smiles. Now, it seems that all of them will be leaving the team soon, but it will only be up to Liverpool execs to determine how long they have left at Anfield.
