Ronald Koeman will have to make miracles happen to put up a proper and competitive defense to face Los Blancos next weekend.

The first big meeting of the season has come for Barcelona, but there may be a major cause for Ronald Koeman to be concerned about some of the names he will have available for Sunday's clash against Real Madrid.

Following their one-nil win against Dynamo Kyiv last Wednesday, the team's medical staff had to deal with one more injury concern. The player that could miss the key tie against Real Madrid is none other than Jordi Alba, who was diagnosed with a sprain to his right foot.

That injury could see him missing out the chance to play against Los Blancos, as the only option to have him around would be to have the medical staff giving him an injection to help ease the pain.

Jordi Alba's absence will not be the only one that Ronald Koeman will have to deal with for this game, as Ronald Araujo and Pedri will not be fit for this game. Added to those absences, the Dutch boss may also have to make do without Ousmané Dembelé, who has struggled with injuries ever since he joined Los Blaugranas.

But not everything will be bad news for Koeman ahead of this clash, as defender Eric García will return to the team after serving a one-match ban last weekend against Valencia.
