PSG fans had to wait over two months to see Lionel Messi scoring his first goal for Les Parisiens in their domestic competition, but it was surely worth their wait considering the kind of goal he accomplished.

The Argentine ace scored PSG's last goal of the evening against Nantes in a crucial time of the match, as Les Parisiens were down to ten men due to a red card against Keylor Navas.

Pochettino's men had taken an early lead thanks to Kylian Mbappé's goal, which was later canceled by Randal Kolo Muani, who scored after Navas' red card. Moments later, an own goal by Dennis Appiah gave PSG the lead again. Just when it seemed Nantes had a shot at equalizing the game, along came Messi to settle the deal and score the last goal of the evening.

Messi took the ball and drove it past Alban Lafont with a delightful left-footed shot from outside the box, which caused quite a riot among PSG fans inside Parc Des Princes.
