Here's how things are looking in the Eastern Conference...

...and how they're shaping up in the Western Conference

Preview: What's happening in round 10 of the 2022 MLS season

Matchday 10 will kick off with a clash featuring two newer sides: Charlotte and Inter Miami. It will be a historic meeting, as it's the first time the two teams will meet in MLS, and both teams will be eager to get back to winning ways after suffering losses in their matches against respective fixtures. Charlotte will also hope that their home pitch advantage will help them, as they're winless in their last three and overall have won just three times so far this season, while Inter Miami will aim to rebound after seeing their three-game winning streak snapped recently.

Elsewhere, the two teams at the top of their respective conferences - Los Angeles FC and Philadelphia Union will lock horns in a mouth-watering tie. Both teams have been in sparkling form lately, albeit Los Angeles has done better than their upcoming opponents in overall performance, with seven wins, one draw and one loss from their first nine games while Philadelphia has picked up five wins, three draws, and one defeat.

Meanwhile, CF Montreal is hoping to make their own slice of history when they face Orlando City. A win or a draw for them will ensure that they're seven games unbeaten in domestic competition, albeit Orlando could pose pretty stiff competition considering they've won three of their last four games.

And struggling duo Atlanta United and Chicago Fire will be involved in a desperate scrap for points. Atlanta's struggles this season are really shocking considering the success they had only a couple of seasons back, but this time around sees them having picked up just one point from their last four games. Chicago, for their part, have failed to win their last five games, so it'll be interesting to see if either of these teams can turn things around here.
