The Ligue 1 champions are said to be exploring the possibility of selling the Brazilian superstar this summer.

Neymar could leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer, with the Ligue 1 champions apparently having already offered him to Serie A side Juventus. The decision to sell the 31-year-old Brazilian forward was reportedly made by the club's new sporting director Luis Campos as he looks to steer the French club in the right direction with their new project.

Neymar Jr has been in Ligue 1 since 2017 after joining PSG from Barcelona in a world-record €222 million transfer. In what has so far been a successful career for the attacker on the domestic front, he has often been overshadowed by teammate Kylian Mbappe who has somewhat become the club's posterboy since his arrival from Monaco. A few weeks ago, one of the longest transfer sagas concluded when the young French forward gave up on a dream move to Real Madrid and committed his future to Les Parisians. The development has reportedly necessitated the need for Neymar to be sold with the arrival of Lionel Messi last summer has also not helped the former's case.

According to multiple reports from France, PSG are looking to move on a few players in order to ease the burden on their finances after offering Mbappe a massive contract renewal offer. As a result, Neymar has been identified as one of the players that would be allowed to leave should the right offer arrive.

Speaking to the Spanish press, as Foot Mercato pointed out, PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi earlier this week put the Brazilian's future at the club in doubt. Asked if Neymar is part of the new PSG project, he said: "We can't talk about these topics in the media, some will join and others will leave – these are private negotiations."

On Wednesday, Italian publication Footmercato stoked the fire by stating that Neymar Jr has been offered to Juventus. According to the report, the Old Lady are considering a move after head coach Massimiliano Allegri's request to increase the overall quality of his squad. Nevertheless, the deal is not expected to be completed easily while it is also the case that Neymar would have to accept a significant pay cut on his current earnings should the Serie A club table an official offer to PSG.

In a rather refreshing turn of events for the Brazilian, French paper L'Equipe has reported that PSG will have to pay Neymar $134M, the equivalent of the final 5 years of his contract, if they want him to leave.
