The relegation battle got heated, as the Black Cats boss got physical with one opposing player during a touchline row.

On Saturday, Sunderland and Norwich city clashed at Carrow Road in a highly-anticipated English Premier League relegation battle.

Both the Black Cats and the Canaries are in danger of dropping out of the top-flight, with the earlier of the two clubs sitting in the bottom three.

The weekend tie was a do-or-die game for both sides, but it was Sam Allardyce’s boys who came out victorious in the 3-0 win.

However, the biggest talking point did not concern the victory, but rather a clash between the Sunderland boss and Cameron Jerome.

A fight broke out on the pitch when Sunderland’s DeAndre Yedlin was pushed into the stands, leading to confrontation between players from both sides.

Allardyce could not resist staying out of the fight, as he shoved the Englishman in the touchline row. Watch in the VINE below.
