But quite unexpectedly, Kaka, Roberto Firmino and Lucas Moura were excluded from the list. Other notable players who have been axed from the initial 40-man squad include Marcelo Grohe, Jemerson, Alex Sandro, Fagner, Wallace, Gabriel Paulista, Ganso, Fernandinho, Gabriel jesus, Luan, Jonas, Alex Teixeira and Felipe Anderson.
Meanwhile, the Samba Boys will have to play without their captain Neymar (below). The Barcelona ace will however feature for his national team in the Rio Olympic Games as per the agreement between his club and Brazil.
