As the transfer season nears, rumours making rounds in Spain claim that Real Madrid are interested in signing Theo Hernandez from city neighbours Atletico Madrid. And at a recent press conference, Los Blancos boss Zinedine Zidane appeared to be confirming his admiration for the 19-year-old.
The Frenchman is on loan at the capital city club from Deportivo Alaves but if the latest recent are anything to consider, he could move across the street to the Santiago Bernabeu in the summer. Speaking about the teenage left-back, Zizou told reporters:
''He's a good player, there's no doubt about that. I'm invested in working with my current players, anyone else I cannot talk about."
The France and Real Madrid legend was speaking ahead of their trip to Leganes on Wednesday for their league clash. Zidane's men top the league with 68 points, two more than second-placed Barcelona who they face on April 23 in El Clasico.
