Another weekend of Premier League action has gone by. Fans were treated to a clash between Man United and Liverpool, which the Red Devils won 2-1, and Arsenal’s 3-0 victory over Watford at the Emirates.
Those weren’t the only top-six sides to enjoy victory, as Chelsea and Tottenham triumphed over Crystal Palace and Bournemouth respectively. League leader Man City travels to Stoke City on Monday.
Here are the stand-out statistics from the weekend games in the English top-flight.
Arsenal records impressive feat
On Sunday, the Gunners put an end to their three-game losing streak in the Premier League by beating Watford at the Emirates Stadium. Those three goals scored against the Hornets made them only the second team in Premier League history to score 1000 goals at home – behind only Man United (1066).

Cech and Ozil set records
In Sunday’s victory, Petr Cech not only saved a penalty in an Arsenal shirt – his first in 16 attempts – but he finally recorded a clean sheet. It was his 200th in total, becoming the first goalkeeper in Premier League history to reach this number.

Ozil also made history in the victory. Setting up the opening goal, he registered his 50th English top-flight assist in only his 141st game, becoming the quickest player ever to reach this number.
RECORD: Mesut Ozil (141 games) has now become the fastest player to record 50 assists in the Premier League, breaking Eric Cantona’s previous record (143 games).

Man United improve on last season’s top-six record
The 2-1 victory over Liverpool was the Red Devils’ fourth win against a top-six side in eight encounters this season, twice as many wins as they managed in the entire 2016/17 campaign.
Pochettino ties Tottenham’s managerial record
144 - This will be Mauricio Pochettino’s 144th Premier League game in charge of Tottenham – no manager has taken charge of more in the competition for the north Londoners (level with Harry Redknapp). Affinity. pic.twitter.com/uqnLt9tQKp
