The Verdeamarelha side may end this competition as champions, and here's how fans can keep track of their progress in Russia.

The most winning team in FIFA World Cup history has been named as one of the favorites to win the competition, and with that in mind, fans watching the competition in Brazil will have a number of options to follow the beautiful game while on the go.

With Neymar and Co. signing one of the best World Cup Qualifiers in team history, fans are really looking forward for the competition. Needless to say, the Verdeamarelha side seems ready to have their pride restored after a disappointing 4th-place finish four years ago. Let's see how A Canarinha fans will be able to follow the competition when they're not glued to their TV sets.

World Cup streaming via the official broadcasters

FOX Sports Brasil

FOX Sports Brasil will broadcast the 64 games of the competition via their multiple channels, and fans will also have the chance to stream the tournament via the website foxplay.com/br. Fans will have the chance to watch multiple games on this platform, especially when two games are being played at the same time. This will not be a free service, as fans will have to pay around $11 in order to watch the games, which will be available both live and on-demand.

Globo

Globo will be the only public access network to broadcast the 64 games of the World Cup, since their competitors failed to reach a deal to broadcast the tournament. Globo will broadcast at least 56 games, since there seems to be no alternative to broadcast games taking place at the same time, and the same goes for their website. Via globoplay.globo.com, fans will be able to follow minute-by-minute coverage of the games, with several articles for them to feast their eyes with. Furthermore, the on-demand option will  be available for those who want to re-live the games or watch them for the first time, if they weren't able to catch them live.

SportTV

SportTV will also broadcast the full 64 games of the World Cup 2018 tournament on TV, on mobile devices and on their website. Subscribers will have the chance to follow games online via their online player.

World Cup streaming in English

FOX Sports Brasil, Globo and SportTV have not revealed plans to broadcast any English-spoken content during the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

World Cup streaming in Portuguese language

FoxPlay - This option will give fans the opportunity to follow every single game of the FIFA World Cup live or on-demand via Fox Play, the new streaming service being boosted by Fox. With the network's execs keen on leaving cable and satellite TV providers in favor of streaming services, this will be the first major event being broadcast by their subscription option. For a small fee, fans will have access to Foxplay's content (including their premium channels).

SportTV - SportTV will team up with Globo to broadcast the 64 games of the FIFA World Cup via the globosatplay.globo.com/sportv/ website. Content will be available live and on-demand, with other articles and news being available for fans to watch. This service will be available to all of SportTV's subscribers.

Apps with live World Cup games

Fox+ App - This is Fox's most ambitious project, as they intend to leave all major cable companies in order to provide their content via streaming. Fans will be able to watch all 64 games live and on-demand for a small fee. Proper coverage of the competition will be available through most of Fox Sports' channels, which will also be available on their app.

SportTV App - Football fans in Brazil will have access to SportTV's content via their dedicated app, which will provide full coverage of the competition, both live and on-demand. An alliance between SportTV and TV manufacturer Samsung will also provide live coverage of the tournament's games to those users who buy a TV set from the aforementioned company and download the app. This option will give fans the chance to witness all of Brazil's games in the competition, the semi-finals and the tournament's final.

Globoplay App - If fans choose to follow the tournament's games via Globo's broadcast, the company's free app is the best option for them if they want to watch games on the go. Only 56 games will be available through this app, either live or on-demand.
