The nerazzurri have proven to be quite competitive under Conte, and any of these additions could boost their title chances.

Inter Milan made some smart moves during the offseason to try and compete to end Juve's dominance in the Italian top-flight, and it seems that Antonio Conte is not willing to stop adding talent to his team given his team's fine performance during the first months of the campaign.

With that in mind, and according to a report published by Calciomercato, a top-notch negotiator for Inter has traveled to Barcelona with the intention to sign either Arturo Vidal or Ivan Rakitic...or both, if possible.

Both men have found it hard to find enough minutes under Ernesto Valverde, although Vidal seems to have it a bit easier than the Croatian ace this season. Even so, both men have been linked to a transfer in the upcoming transfer window, and player agent Giuseppe Riso made the trip to Catalunya to find out what type of negotiation it would take to see any of these players making the trip to Italy back with him.

Riso has conducted many negotiations for Inter in the past, and his presence in Barcelona would be a clear indication about the team's interest in signing one of these midfielders.

As we said before, Rakitic may be easier to hire for Conte and Co., since he has fallen down Ernesto Valverde's pecking order. On the other hand, Vidal has repeatedly referred to Conte as one of the most influential coaches in his career, and the idea of working together may be enough to see him leave Los Culés to stage a shocking comeback to the Italian top-flight.

A portion of the Spanish media suggested that Riso's trip had something to do with Inter's intention to negotiate Stefano Sensi to Barcelona, which is nowhere near the truth, since Sensi is under contract with Sassuolo, and any move by Inter would need Sassuolo's approval.
