The long-awaited D1 Arkema decider between Lyon and PSG, the UEFA Women’s Champions League quarterfinal and semifinal draw and the FA Women’s Super League’s Matchday 17 are the headlines in women’s football this week.

Division 1 Feminine – Le Classique Feminine

Division 1 Feminine leaders Paris Saint-Germain will take a long-awaited trip from France's capital east to the capital city in the Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes region to take on reigning champions Olympique Lyonnais on Saturday, March 13, at 3 p.m. ET.

Olivier Echouafni's PSG defeated Lyon at home in November for the first time since the 2018 Coupe de France Feminine final to take command of the league. The Parisians have not dropped a point since and carry a two-point advantage over their bitter rivals. A win on Saturday would most likely secure PSG's first-ever title since joining France's topflight in 2001.

On the other hand, Lyon is looking to retain the French throne it has held for 14 straight years. The European champions are ready for revenge after winning all their league games, apart from their loss to PSG. Unlike Paris, Lyon will have less rest ahead of the game after playing the second leg of the UEFA Women's Champions League round of 16 game against Brondby on Wednesday.

Saturday's Le Classique Feminin will be the decider for the 2020-21 D1 Arkema title. The game will be available exclusively on ESPN+ for fans in the USA.

Everton vs. Chelsea – Wednesday, March 17, at 3 p.m. ET

Manchester City was able to overcome Everton last weekend by one late goal, and now it is Chelsea's turn to be tested by Willie Kirk's Toffees. Arsenal vs. Manchester United – Friday, March 19, at 2:30 p.m. ET

Manchester United would need a flawless end to its FA WSL season to have a chance at winning the title. The Red Devils are six points behind first-place Chelsea with six games left in the campaign. More importantly, their upcoming game against Arsenal will be their toughest challenge with West Ham, Brighton, Tottenham, Bristol City and Everton left to play in the remainder of the campaign. A win at Meadow Park is a must for Casey Stoney and her women. It will not be an easy challenge by any means as they will face the third most explosive attacking side in the league led by Miedema, Foord and Jill Roord.
