The Three Lions are keen on keeping their winning streak against France in World Cup matches, and a key addition could help them to that purpose.

Gareth Southgate and England could be given a big boost ahead of the clash against France, as one of their top players during the group stage of the World Cup could be back in time to help them try and beat the defending champions.

The man in question is none other than Raheem Sterling, who has sorted out his problems away from the pitch and could be back in Qatar to play the crucial match.

Sterling was allowed to leave the team's camp after reports came in from England about his family's home being burglarized on Saturday evening. Initial reports stated that Sterling's family had been held at gunpoint by the attackers, but those statements have been debunked by the family itself, as they were returning from an international trip when they found that their house had been broken into.

The player is reportedly making travel plans to re-join his teammates in Qatar, but he will only do that once the safety of his loved ones is guaranteed.

The former Manchester City star has been deemed as key to Southgate's plans, and while his void can be filled by either Phil Foden or Buyako Saka, the footballer's international experience could come in handy for the Three Lions against Les Bleus.
