The English striker had one goal disallowed minutes before finding the back of the net...and he was able to redeem himself after a BIG mistake.

Chelsea had dominated most of the game against Borussia Dortmund, and taking the lead before halftime was key to their chances of success. Luckily for Potter's team, Raheem Sterling was at the right place to score the opener...even if he had come up with a massive miss moments before.

The English footballer scored in the dying moments of th first half with a massive right-foot shot, which came right after what American fans might refer to as a "strike". The former Manchester City player had failed to hit a cross by Ben Chilwell, but as it turns out, that miss gave him a second chance to convert.

Sterling confirmed himself as the most prolific scorer for Chelsea in this competition, finding the back of the net for the third time in the tournament and giving the Blues a lifeline for the second half.
