The Blues made it past the Round of 16 thanks to a first-half strike by Raheem Sterling and Kai Havertz's penalty in the second.

The stage was set and the team was ready, but their recent performances did not see fans getting too excited about Chelsea's future in the UEFA Champions League. Nonetheless, the Blues stepped up when they needed to and capped a deserved comeback in their tie against Borussia Dortmund while adding a bit of history to their accomplishment.

The Premier League side honored those who dubbed them as favorites with a convincing performance, where the two-goal lead against Borussi Dortmund fell short after what was seen on the pitch. If Chelsea's footballers had been more accurate, they could have won this tie by a wider margin.

Regardless of that, Graham Potter's team made it to one more Quarterfinal round in the continental tournament, and while doing that, they managed to join some of the most dominant teams in the competition.

Chelsea's fate in the tournament will be sorted out next week, when the rest of the Round of 16 ties come to an end. Will the Blues manage to stun the world and go all the way to the final one more time? Let us wait and see what the draw holds in store for them.
