Another season of European football is just around the corner, and CBS Sports, along with Paramount+ and CBS Sports Golazo Network getting ready to guide fans every step of the way until the finals of each of those competitions.
Coverage will begin on Tuesday, September 19. Select matches will be made available to watch on CBS Sports Network and CBS Sports Golazo Network. Added to that, all games will be available to stream on Paramount+.
Things will get busy with UEFA Champions League Today, the live pre-match, halftime, and post-match studio show on CBS Sports, hosted by Kate Abdo and with top-caliber analysts Thierry Henry, Jamie Carragher, and Micah Richards. To boost its coverage, the network will have the legendary Peter Schmeichel, Guillem Balagué, and Anita Jones providing reports on-site all season long.
The first week of action calls for a special broadcast, which will come on CBS Sports with a two-hour pre-match edition of UEFA Champions League Today. The first hour will air on CBS Sports Golazo and Paramount+, leaving the second to be streamed on Paramount+ and aired on live TV via CBS Sports Network.
Speaking of this week's games, Andrés Cordero will call play-by-play action for PSG vs Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday, with the legendary Ray Hudson providing analysis for the game. On Wednesday, Clive Tyldesley will bring all the play-by-play emotion to the Bayern vs Manchester United clash, while Rob Green provides in-match analysis. Additionally, Christina Unkel will boost coverage with her unique approach to explain rules in UEFA competitions.
The network will also offer additional programming to go deeper into its coverage, including The Golazo Show, hosted by Nico Cantor and Freddie Ljungberg, who will take care of reporting all the activity on UCL, Europa League, and Conference League matchdays.
