The Giallorossi will have a new logo on the front of their kits starting from the upcoming season.

So far, so good for Roma. The Giallorossi, who are under the guidance of new coach Jose Mourinho, recently recorded a resounding 10-0 win in his first game in charge. While this was against Montecatini, a team who play in Serie D - three levels below Serie A - it was still a good result to build off, nonetheless.

Roma, who missed out on the Champions League and the Europa League, but will be taking part in the inaugural Europa Conference League, will have a totally new look heading into the 2021/2022 season. They've also been very busy on the sponsorship front. As we mentioned earlier this month, the Giallorossi opted to renew their contract with Hyundai for another season. The capital club and the Korean car manufacturer first linked up ahead of the 2018/2019 season in a deal worth an approximate $3.6 million (€3 million).

With their deal with Qatar Airways expiring, Roma have had to secure a new primary kit sponsor. And according to Italian publication Il Tempo, their newest partner is DigitalBits, a blockchain network. As per the same report, the deal is worth an approximate $46.2 million (€39 million) for three years with a signing fee of about $7.1 million (€6 million).

The deal is supposedly set to be announced on July 27th. If all goes according to plan, Roma will become the third team to sign with a blockchain network, following in the steps of Valencia and Inter, with the latter expected to complete their deal with Chiliz, the owners of Socios.com, before the start of the upcoming season.
