ESPN2 is an American pay-TV channel dedicated to sports. It is owned by ESPN Inc., and it has been active since 1993. Available in over 80 million US households, the channel broadcasts in high definition, while maintaining a 480i feed for its SD version. Though it airs a lot of exclusive content, it has also shared coverage of many sporting events with parent network ESPN via simulcasts. It has mirrored content from sister network ESPN Deportes too, in the past, as a means to promote the Spanish-language station.
