The Reds have seen their top options to boost their midfield joining Chelsea, which has forced Klopp and Co. to look for other alternatives.

Following the team's recent problems to hire reliable midfielders, Liverpool have reportedly turned their sights on their following options to boost those spots in their lineup.

The club, who saw Romeo Lavia and Moisés Caicedo choosing Chelsea over the Reds, have identified a number of players that could become Liverpool players after careful scouting...that is if they are not snubbed by these targets.

The names on Klopp's shortlist include Fluminense's rising star André, Crystal Palace's Cheick Doucouré, Boubacar Kamara from Aston Villa, Bayern's Ryan Gravenberch, and Fiorentina's Sofyan Amrabat. Out of those, the safest bets for Liverpool are Kamara and Gravenberch, according to The Athletic.

Kamara joined Villa last summer, causing an immediate impact with the Claret and Blue. The Villains paid a bit over $22M for his services, and Premier League insiders hint his club could ask for at leat $40M for his transfer.

In recent hours, sources close to the team revealed that Klopp's bosses made contact with Fiorentina to ask for Amrabat's situation. The Moroccan player has been pushing for an exit away from Fiorentina since the winter transfer window, and his $38M valuation would not be a major issue for Liverpool.

The other feasible option, this time because the player would be keen on a move, is Gravenberch. The Dutch midfielder failed to impress in his first season at Allianz Arena, and since Thomas Tuchel does not have him as one of his main alternatives, the player would be interested in joining a team such as Liverpool.

While there are no negotiations with any of these teams, Liverpool will have to step on the gas to secure a move, especially with the summer transfer window closing in 15 days.
