The French footballer and the coach had a few words one day after the 20218 World Cup winner was subbed off against his former side.

Kylian Mbappé is not happy with how things are going for him at PSG, and he was sure to let his coach know about that.

The footballer requested a meeting with PSG's coach, Luis Enrique, who has been pretty clear about how he will handle all things related to the club: he will prepare Les Parisiens for life after Mbappé.

Ever since word got out about Mbappé's intentions to leave the club, the player has not been allowed to complete a Ligue 1 game. He was left on the bench against Lille, played only 28 minutes against Nantes, and was subbed off against Rennes (65 minutes played) and Monaco (replaced at halftime).

With that in mind, Mbappé requested to have a word with Luis Enrique, and the contents of that conversation were revealed in a recent report by L'Equipe

According to the French media outlet, Luis Enrique told Mbappé he will continue to "rest" the player whenever he feels like it, because he needs to get his team used to not having him around.

The coach also told the striker he would only do that in Ligue 1 games, not in UEFA Champions League matches, since he is counting on Mbappé to lead PSG as far as possible in the continental competition.

Apparently, Mbappé agreed with this decision by Luis Enrique, but it remains to be seen if the coach sticks to his word or we see the footballer being taken off during a key moment of a Champions League match.

PSG face Real Sociedad this week in the return leg of their UEFA Champions League tie. The French side get to that game with a two-nil lead after the first leg.
