The end of the 2020 UEFA Euro will not only bring the end of Joachim Löw's term as coach.

The end of an era is fast approaching for the German National Team, and with Tuesday's update against England, some of the players that were key for Die Mannschaft's victories in the 2014 FIFA World Cup and other competitions will follow Joachim Löw's footsteps and retire from international duty.

The German side did not have the best UEFA Euro in history, and with such a complicated season on most players' backs, it is time for some of them to focus on their clubs permanently. Such is the case of none other than Toni Kroos, who will retire from international games after Germany's 2-0 loss to England.

Back in March, the midfielder had dropped a hint about his international future, but Tuesday's loss forced Kroos to see his international career coming to an end. Now, according to Bild, the footballer will come forward to reveal his decision before the end of the week.

Here are some of Kroos' stats for Germany during the UEFA Euro. This may give you an idea on how relevant the footballer's absence will be for Die Mannschaft.

Kroos will retire from the national team having played 107 International games, scoring 17 goals in the process. More than that, his leadership and influence on the pitch will be missed by football fans from all over the globe.
