Manchester United left back Patrice Evra is tired of losing against Barcelona.
Earlier in May, Patrice Evra had avowed that over confidence had destroyed his game against Barcelona in the 2009 UEFA Champions League final which ended 2-0 against Manchester United. The French international had then vowed to get things right at Wembley but the Catalans proved too strong for the Red Devils.

Manchester United suffered yet another 2-0 margin defeat to Pep Guardiola’s Barcelona. The scoreboard inscribed a 3-1 result in favor of the Spanish and at the disgust of Manchester United and their followers.

On Thursday, Patrice Evra publicly revealed his wish for revenge as Barcelona and Manchester United are expected to lock horn this weekend. The defender was quoted as saying to reporters:

“I give Barcelona a lot of respect but I'd like to play against them again in the Champions League final and win because I've already lost twice and it's very painful.”

Barcelona will be without Lionel Messi who recently returned from a disappointing 2011 Copa America campaign. Likewise, Manchester United will be without 2011 Gold Cup winner Chicharito as Ferguson wants the player to rest ahead of the new season. The Mexican, besides, suffered a knock on his head earlier this week and has been ruled out for 2 weeks with the minor injury.
