After Estonia took a harsh 7-0 beating against Portugal on Wednesday evening, Ronaldo has urged his teammates to stay humble ahead of Euro 2016.

Portugal will be entering this summer competition with the utmost confidence after an incredible 7-0 win in Lisbon in their final Euro warm-up. However, the Real Madrid striker believes his team must remain cautious ahead of their UEFA Euro 2016 campaign.

Speaking at the post-match press conference, the 31-year-old striker stated:

"It was just a friendly and even though we won 7-0, it doesn't mean anything.

"We must keep our feet firmly on the ground. The team played very well and we are all physically well.

"We are on the right path but we have to keep our feet firmly on the ground."Portugal-Ronaldo

Ronaldo only played in the first half of the game and was replaced by Nani in the 46th minute; however, managed to score two stunning goals for his side within 10 minutes of being on the pitch.

"I would have liked to have played more but it was better to manage my time on the pitch and give others an opportunity to play."

Portugal will face Iceland in their opening Euro 2016 match on June 14 at the Geoffroy-Guichard stadium.
